About

Hello! Welcome to my blog, a place where I plan to place whatever thoughts come into my brain. I really don’t expect anyone to actually want to read this blog. However, if you want to read my mumblings, feel free! All are welcome to my blog full of weirdness. Blogging was never really on my radar until a few weeks ago when the thought popped into my little noggin. Keep reading to find out how I finally put my fingers to keyboard.

To be honest, when I first had the thought about starting a blog I totally dismissed it. I am a proud introvert, I don’t love speaking up in a class, or hanging out with large groups of people I don’t know. I would rather sit at home with a good book, than go out every night and do random shenanigans (hopefully that is spelled right, if not, auto-correct has betrayed me). Then I realized, a blog is perfect for introverts such as me! I can share my thoughts without having to communicate in-person with large masses of people who I don’t know.

I shall introduce myself a bit. I grew up in Eastern Washington State. When most people think of Washington, they think of rainy Seattle. However, a lot of Washington is not like Seattle at all. I grew up in basically a desert, with a bit of windmill, sage brush, and an occasional pine tree thrown in. I am the oldest of six siblings, which means I have plenty of diaper changing experience. This fall I will be a sophomore at BYU-Idaho. I currently do not know what I will major in (see a future post for more on that). I had the opportunity to travel to Brazil on a humanitarian trip a few summers ago, which ignited my love for sloths.

If I haven’t scared you off yet, then that’s a miracle! Yay! Hopefully you will have enough energy to come back and check it out, as I update this blog with my thoughts and feelings. As of now, I really don’t know too much of what this blog will be about. Most likely just whatever I am thinking about. If you so desire to join me on this “journey,” then buckle your seat belt, cause it will be an interesting ride for sure.

P.S. I also have a love for puns, so beware.
